Meadow & Bark: Where Family, Nature, and Luxury Collide
Motherhood can be a powerful motivator. For Marisa, it spurred a passionate quest for clean, effective skincare – a quest fueled by her desire to give her three children and family the purest, most nourishing products possible.
Born from this mission, Meadow & Bark blossomed. We harness the power of Mother Nature's bounty, meticulously crafting non-toxic, nourishing, and remarkably effective skincare and suncare products. Every ingredient is meticulously chosen, every production method carefully considered, all ensuring you experience effortless luxury without compromising well-being.
Our Story
It all started with the need to find the safest and most effective sunscreen for our family. After an inspiring trip to Indonesia, we learned of age-old techniques using only pure, earth-based ingredients to protect and nourish the skin. From there, we quickly discovered that a label claiming to be “natural,” does not necessarily mean it is devoid of toxins or safe for our bodies. Since then, our calling to create the best sunscreens possible has extended to skincare solutions including, face, body and fragrance products. Each is filled with the highest quality, ethically sourced, and when possible, organically grown ingredients that deliver amazing results.

All of our formulas are 100% naturally derived, globally sourced, and organically grown in Long Beach, New York.
Packaging
We believe that our packaging should be just as eco-friendly as our product. The dark violet glass is designed to protect its contents by keeping the damaging uv light rays out while bamboo packaging is one of the most sustainable options on the planet.
How We Give Back
1% of proceeds go to charities supporting environmental, women’s rights and cancer research. We are inspired supporters of the Fabien Cousteau Ocean Learning Center and just adopted our first turtle nests which hatched in February of 2022!
